Toby Daye
Characters: Simon Torquill, Patrick Lorden, Dianda Lorden
Please give me Simon getting used to being in the Undersea with his new spouses, actually being with people who love him, I want him happy. Cute flirting, figuring out how this whole thing works, etc. I love the OT3 so much!
If you want to bring family stuff into this totally fine/keen by me, like Simon getting used to finally being able to be a Dad again, and being a stepdad to another teenager (I did the math, Peter is 16 as of the latest book). Just...romance and bonding and fluff and feels? Some angst is fine but like slice of life bonding and cuteness and Simon being in a place where he is loved and not hurt and he has people who love him and care about him. Like just very feels here, esp re family and deciding who counts as family and being with people who love you for you. Include who you want besides the OT3 but like cute slice of life here would be amazing.
Also for some reason I see Simon adapting well to having a cell phone - like post-WSC I have this mental image of him trying to bond with Toby by texting silly memes/dad jokes? Or at least like them texting and like Toby finding texting him to be good, like it’s a new thing and kinda weird and it’s especially weird how tech-savvy Simon has gotten so fast (maybe he was able to sneak a visit to hang out with January and April and Li Qin without Sylvester noticing?) but also like I am just imagining funny text convos. Again like totally optional throwing out ideas at this point, but if you want to run with that I am down.
General likes re Tobyverse:
Found family feels, people getting a break or at least the fun kind of “everything is chaos”. People getting to spend time with family, however they define it. A fan of the current canon ships (Toby/Tybalt, Dean/Quentin, etc) Also a fan of the following non-canon ships if you want to go that route: Dean/Quentin, Chelsea/Gillian, August/Nolan. Walther is great but not a fan of Walther/Cassandra sorry.
Love the Luidaeg showing up, I literally named my cat after the Luidaeg bc of how much I adore her. Captain Pete = also on the HELL YES list.
DNW:
Please keep mention of Amandine, Eira, and/or Oleander to a minimum and not in much detail. Bonding over “wow, Amandine was a bitch to us” is fine, minor jokes and being a bit sarcastic about it is fine as long as not a huge chunk of the fic, but flashbacks in detail or detailed discussion, please not. I would prefer it if Sylvester and/or Luna didn’t show up much? Angst is fine in bits but like not the whole thing, I want more fluff or just even hit me in the chest with deep family feels please. I need a Simon Torquill defense squad shirt at this point.

Characters: Anna Tromedlov, Leviathan
I want them to get together! Please give me the romance/finally admitting it to each other/them being badasses together but also admitting their feelings that I really wanted out of the end of the book. Even if their relationship isn’t a usual one, like….do they have a quiet night in discussing books or watching a movie maybe? What does a relationship look like between them? I am cool with angst but I want there to be romantic payoff and optimism and like the UST turning into some sort of romantic happenings. I want them to get together (and then get it on). I want romance, however romance looks between these two.
If by some miracle of the gods you are into writing smut for this ship, see above comments re smut wants/do not wants, but also like….if Leviathan is being kind of sexily bossy to Anna, that would be hot. Like not dom/sub, but like, normally I am more about give and take in smut but like if you wanted to write him as more assertive I am 100% down with that (and besides given canon, Anna’s response to that would probably be “hell yes”). LLike how he is in canon when it's him and Anna, with clearly respecting/appreciating her. Hope this makes sense?
Heck in the book she even mentions fucking on his desk and that would be amazing. Like feelings and then getting it on would be great. Like Also creative dick anatomy re Leviathan (tentacles are traditional for stuff like this but TheCraftyHedonist on Etsy has some fun nsfw designs that could be fun inspiration?). But I also like the idea of them just getting it on with steamy reckless abandon and then there being a bit cute/fluff/awkward before and/or after. Really I just want those two to get together but I would be pleased AF I got smut of these two.

Honestly you can give me something with pretty much any of the characters and I will be thrilled. More worldbuilding? More paladin adventures? Zale gets another weird legal case to deal with? Consider this free rein within the wants/dnw listed.I am cool with body horror as per usual canon levels of such, but nothing involving parasites. Pretty wide latitude here, but like try for the same overall flavor of the books themselves in terms of how dark stuff gets vs how funny? I listed Zale but like you can add in whatever other characters you like as well, I am very excited to see where this goes.
I love the gnoles too so feel free to add them in if you want but if not totally no worries. I do like cooking/food so if there's like those aspects, very yes, or even like if you want to give me gnoles being cute about their livestock (I LOVE BRINDLE AND HIS OXEN), hell yes, cows are awesome, or like are there gnoles that like chickens? Do the paladins ever have knitting contests like "I bet I can knit a sweater faster than you can" and it turns into shenanigans? Again just ideas here, but like strike where the muse takes you, I love these books so dang much ^_^

No OCs as main characters but OCs as side characters are fine/fun/dandy.
Please don't go into racism/sexism/homophobia/transphobia/anti-gnole sentiment/ overall bigotry/etc too much. Like see the main list of DNW - the usual level of funny yet macabre stuff in the books is fine, but don't go darker? Keep to original flavor levels of stuff if at all possible.
- Found family/family of choice,
- Dealing with shitty stuff that happened to you by joking about it,
- Relationships where everyone is kinda weird but that's what makes it awesome,
- Being loved and seen for who you are not who people expect you to be,
- Cute/silly shenanigans / roadtrip shenanigans,
- People realizing that oxen/cattle/sheep are awesome (White Rat verse mostly but like I am totally Team Brindle in the sense that cattle and sheep are awesome, and smarter than people realize, and cows are kinda like giant cats sometimes, it's awesome, and sheep are smart enough to be devious and have ulterior motives (like stealing your hat).
- Someone having funny bad luck/weird luck in the sense of it causing shenanigans like 'why does every cow i meet try to groom my hair' sense, not the schadenfreude sense.
- Like Ursula Vernon/T. Kingfisher's stuff usually hits most of my YES buttons.
- Stuff can get a bit morbid or macabre if it's funny.
- Cute stuff involving animals.
- Funny attempts to cook. People being awkward and adorkable.
- Making stuff hella hella queer, and hella hella nerdy.
- People getting into pop culture from species/cultures not their own.
Like to give a sense of what I generally dig re media,
- I love Leverage, Ted Lasso, Star Trek (esp DS9 and Lower Decks),
- Pretty much everything by Seanan McGuire/Ursula Vernon/Diane Duane/Terry Pratchett (esp Feet of Clay and Hogfather),
- I read a lot of Garak/Bashir fanfiction
- I adore the current era of X-Men comics esp Marauders but also perpetually stanning Madelyne Pryor (she deserved better!).
- I tend to cling to characters that have been treated rough bc I want them to be happy and safe and rejoice when they are.
DNW:
- No suicide, suicidality, suicidal thoughts, attempts, mentions, etc even if they fit canon, hard NO here. Err on the side of don’t here.
- No mind control
- Sexual assault or mention thereof, domestic violence or mention thereof
- Racism/homophobia/transphobia/bigotry in general
- Abuse of a child / parent being abusive to their children even if it is an adult. Like for the Toby prompt, err on side of caution, discussing characters being shitty parents = ok, even some trauma bonding could be ok, but like don’t write flashbacks of it, don’t give details.
- Gun violence = err on side of caution. ‘I got shot but I got over it’ = ok if you have to. Don't linger on it
- Please do not make jokes at the expense of neurodiverse people or anyone with disabilities. Jokes about gluten/food allergies totally count as that and it’s a form of casual ableism that pisses me off (and makes it harder for me to get food that won’t put my health at risk). Respect characters’ canonical disabilities and don’t hand wave them away
- Please no discussion of pregnancy in the sense of like characters discussing if they should have kids or not etc or the decision to become a parent. Discussion of infertility also = no. Like fic where there are kids and the kids are already there and there is fun stuff involving kids? 1000% fine. Stuff involving pregnancy or the decision to have kids or infertility = no. Do not. NOPE. This is a sensitive subject for me. Please stick to kids that are already there for purposes of this fic.
- No medical torture
- No eyesquick/eye-based horror, no parasites
- Angst is fine but like don’t make the whole thing angsty? Like angst with resolution is fine, even some angsty feels is fine, but I don’t want the whole thing to be angst this year. It’s been a rough year.
Smut-specific DNW:
- No rape/noncon/dubcon, no domestic abuse or mention of such
- No yelling or outright physical fighting like banter yes but actual physical blows or words intended to hurt? No
- No mind control
- No gunplay/knifeplay.
- No incest (stepsiblings count), or stuff like “daddy” etc etc in a sexual manner
- Nothing involving blood/urine/other bodily excretions.
- No being overly possessive/controlling. For personal reasons please try not to have a character use the word “my/mine” referring to another character in a sexy way. “My dear [name] is fine.” But like past that...look just tread carefully ok?

- Oral sex (cunnilingus is great but also I really like fellatio in fic)
- Banter/arguing turning into sex, banter during sex, being sexily snarky
